Concerning the Planetary Alignment of May 2000

May 7, 2000 is the Jewish Date Iyar 2, 5760. On this date the heavenly

bodies Venus, Mercury, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the Moon, will all

be in a straight line. The historian Josephus says that these seven

represent the menorah (lampstand) in the Temple ("Antiquities..." 3,

V11:7). This is the date when Solomon started to build the first Temple

and Ezra started building the second Temple. The Moon in the Talmudic

tradition represents the Messiah, just as does the center lampstand of the

menorah. The three branches on either side of the central stem (6

branches) represent man grafted into the Messiah. Similarly, the planets

on either side of the Moon symbolize a menorah in the heavens. As the

menorah in the Temple symbolizes the Church physically on Earth, an

alignment of the planetary menorah in the heavens portends the Body of

Christ dwelling in heaven.

Hosea 6:2 says, "let us return to the Lord, in 2 days he will revive us,

and on the 3rd day he will raise us up, and we will be forever in His

sight." the birth of Jesus was preceded by signs in the heavens (at least one year

before the Advent). Johanas Kepler calculated the conjunction which

heralded his birth as occurring in the year 7- 6 BC. Kepler believed that

the star of Bethlehem was in fact the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in

the constellation Pisces. This conjunction occured several times, and was

recognized by the Magi as THE COSMIC SIGN preceding Messiah (the book of

Daniel and other Jewish prophecy was known to the Chaldean Magi due to the

period of Jewish Babylonian captivity).

According to the Talmud, the sacrifices of the Day of Atonement were not

accepted by God for 40 years before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

This nullification of animal sacrifices corresponds to the time of Jesus'

Atonement on the cross. The studies of Kepler and the account of Day of

Atonement sacrifices in the Talmud point to the year AD 28 as the date for

Jesus's death and resurrection.

If one uses the formula of "a day to the Lord is as 1,000 years", then the

first 2 "days" will end in the Fall of the year 2000, each year containing

360 days from the Spring of the year 28 AD.

As in the year preceding the first Advent, there will again be a

conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn , beginning in May of 2000. This time,

however, it will occur first in Aries, and will move to Taurus. The

constellation Taurus symbolizes the coming of the Messiah in judgment.

Taurus is the 9th in the Zodiac narrative, which begins with Virgo. This

conjunction also occurs exactly 2000 Biblical years from the triumphal

entry of Jesus into Jerusalem preceding Passover 28AD.

Joshua 3:4 declares that whenever the Ark of the Covenant would be carried

in the wilderness before the tribes of Israel, the people would have to

remain at least 2000 cubits from it. The Ark typically represents the

Messiah. In the Fall of the year 2000, it will have been 2000 prophetic

years since the Messiah was cut off in 28AD. The nation of Israel will

have not yet accepted Jesus , but when the Antichrist is revealed at the

mid-point of the Tribulation, they will begin to get the picture.

Signs in the Sun and Moon

Discerning the Times and Seasons

Since the spring of 1996, there have been consecutive lunar eclipses on

every major full moon feast day of Israel. The first eclipse in the

series fell on Passover April 3rd, 1996. The second, The Eve of the

Feast of Tabernacles, September 27th, 1996. (The typological

significance of these two Holy Days is discussed here.) The third will

occur on Purim, March 23rd, 1997. These 3 eclipses will have taken place

within the span of one Biblical year. These lunar eclipses are a sign in

the heavens, calling our attention to these Holy Days of Israel -

Passover, Tabernacles, and Purim.

From the beginning of the Jewish Civil New Year, which began in

September of 1996, until Passover in 1999, there will be a sign which

will not occur again for 11,000 years. The new moon will rise from the

horizon directly in the constellation of Virgo and move within 24 hours

to the feet of this constellation. The sun will be just below the

horizon, seeming to clothe the woman with the sun. This configuration of

the constellation Virgo, giving birth to the moon will not occur for

11,000 years because of the precession of the equinoxes. The new moon is

very significant to the Talmudic Jews because it is the basis of their

calendar system. It is believed to symbolize the Messiah.

Not only will this past Jewish religious year have begun and ended with

a lunar eclipse on it's first and last Holy Days, but it also will have

been a year neatly bracketed by consecutive appearances of comets. The

comet Hyukatake was at its closest approach to Earth on Passover 1996,

and the comet Hale-Bopp will be at the same point in the sky as its

heavenly predecessor on Passover 1997.

This would seem to portend SOME EVENT to occur on that date in the near

future, on Israel's Feast of PASSOVER .

Signs in the Heavens warn of Antichrist

Significantly, the path that the comet Hyakutake took through the

heavens in the spring of 96 was between the handle of the Big Dipper,

which symbolizes "The Flock of the Good Shepherd", and Arcturus, meaning

"He comes". The book of Job describes these two constellations as

"Arcturus and His train", a good shepherd leading his flock. As a

portent of things to come, comet Hyakutake appeared to bisect these two

constellations. It is an omen of the one who would separate the Flock

from the Shepard.

One year after the sign of Hyakutake, the comet Hale-Bopp appears from

Sagittarius--"the double-natured one", depicted as a cherub in older

zodiacs-- continuing it's path through the

constellation Opheuchus, The Serpent Holder. Hale-Bopp, a comet that has

been linked to the ancient myth of Typhon because it seems to change

shape, fork, spiral, and shift like a serpent, will follow the Serpent

held in the arms of Opheuchus, of the One restraining. The Bible tells

us the Antichrist will come to power when the One who conquers the

serpent allows it -- in God's time. This serpentine comet portends the

period of time in which the plans of the Serpent, and his ultimate tool

the Antichrist, will come to fruition - satan's last effort to avoid

judgment. (Daniel 12:1) (II Thes. 2:6)

The comet Hale-Bopp will traverse the heavens starting from Sagittarius,

towards Aquilla, and eventually cross the constellation Orion (from

Passover through Pentecost). According to the Talmudic sages, a comet

crossing Orion signifies the destruction of the earth. Comet Hale-Bopp

will in fact cross the constellation of Orion, parallel to the 3 stars

in his belt.

UPDATE FALL 1997: While we originally wrote this page in 1996 with hopes

that the signs in 1997 meant events would occur in 1997, we now see that

we were missing the point of the "cosmic omens". An interval of time

passes between God's signs in the heavens and the actual events...they

are a warning as well as harbinger. It is more likely that events

preceded by signs in 97 will occur soon after that, perhaps in 98 or 99

during Israel's Feast Days. Similarly, events preceded by planetary and

star alignments in 2000 will occur soon after that -- but we do not know

exactly how long. We have been warned repeatedly about "date setting".

We leave this page up despite the mistakes in "date setting" with

regards to the years of fulfillment, because the TYPOLOGY is important,

and the basic time frame is still valid.

EVILANDŽ is not claiming to know the exact HOUR of any prophetic

event but merely looking at scripture to see the clues, the allusions

and types, and determine perhaps the "season". There is no prohibition

against looking to see the season -- Jesus chided those who DID NOT look

at the obvious signs of the times:

Matthew 16:2 "When evening comes, you say, `It will be fair weather, for

the sky is red,' and in the morning, `Today it will be stormy, for the

sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of

the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times."

Discerning Signs of the False Messiah

There is a distinct difference between Paul's description of the

"revealing of the Antichrist" and the "coming of the Antichrist" in II

Thessalonians. Paul describes the Antichrist's revealing as when he

moves into the temple in Jerusalem and claims that he is God. (a note from C.Stokes I always thought that all of us are gods the bible says we are made of his image so that makes us gods) Paul

describes the coming of Antichrist as being in concert with "counterfeit

signs and wonders". This distinction is very important. It is

established that the Antichrist will be accepted by the Jew's as their

Messiah because he seems to fulfil the prophecies concerning him in the

scripture.

The Messiah will come to set up His kingdom

during a great battle in Israel

with the sign of his coming in the heavens

with myriads of his "holy ones"

to the Mount of Olives East of Jerusalem

followed by an era of peace

after great earth cataclysms...

The Anti-messiah will no doubt

arrive fulfilling these signs and expectations

by means of satanic counterfeits.

POTENTIAL END TIME SCENARIO:

Russia and the Arab confederacy will launch an all out offensive against

Israel. Ezekial 38,39. Perhaps an asteroid will hit the earth, perhaps

nukes will be involved in the war--earth changes will seem to occur at

the climax of the war. God will decide this battle with swift

destruction which will be felt world wide. This war will occur in

association with a Jewish holiday.

Antichrist will appear on the world scene, setting up a peace plan for

Israel with the signing of a treaty reinstituting sacrifice on

Jerusalem's Temple Mount. He will apparently descend, or land on the

mount of Olives in, perhaps, a helicopter, or something more miraculous.

The Antichrist will not appear on his own, but in conjunction with the

revelation of the "ALIEN PRESENCE" on earth.

This alien revelation will seem like the "holy ones" who come to earth

with the messiah, when they are really the unholy ones coming to set up

the kingdom of the anti-messiah

devise a world wide plan for peace which they will very quickly

implement. Those who do not understand prophecy, who do not know Jesus

as their Lord and are looking for the Messiah's first coming, will be

completely convinced of the Antichrist's "authenticity".
